Beginners – Fusing and Slumping

Course Overview

Students may choose from a large selection of Bullseye Glass and frit (granular glass) to see their own designs incorporated in glass bowls, platters and panels they make themselves. The course explores health and safety, design, mould making, glass cutting, using frit, and the warm glass method of fusing and slumping.
All tools for the course and suppliers list are provided.
After course back-up including use of kiln offered. This is an intensive 2 days and a third day, or evening class lesson beforehand for beginners is advised to get the best from the weekend. Weekend courses run Sat 9.30-5.30, Sun 9.30-4.30 with lunch breaks.
Tea, coffee, biscuits provided. Sandwiches by arrangement
