Hand Block Printing / Lino Cuts for Textiles
Course Overview
This is a traditional, textiles printing technique, which can be enjoyed by all ages and abilities. It’s fun and absorbing and produces surprisingly quick and unique results.
After experimenting with authentic Indian wood blocks, pre-cut and bought blocks, you will be guided on how to create a unique design and how to cut your own lino block. You will be shown basic repeat patterns and produce your very own original prints. Your personal block is for you to take away and can be used many times over for printing onto fabric or paper.

Special Requirements
No experience necessary. All printing materials and fabrics for experimentation are provided but please bring along your own project or fabric for your final piece. Please contact me if you have any queries regarding the suitability of fabrics.
Please bring a packed lunch or I can offer a light lunch for £4. All other refreshments throughout the day are included in the price.
