CREATE BEAUTIFUL RUGS FROM UPCYCLED RAGS

Course Overview

28th: One hour practical workshop to learn the traditional technique used by our forbears since the 19th century to recycle mill waste or old clothes into proddy mats, using half a clothes peg like granny did. Then achieve the same effect with a bodger rug tool and see which you prefer. You could go on to make larger projects of your own designs at home and keep this vintage craft alive.
29th Make a sampler using 2 vintage rag rug techniques: Hooking and Progging.
