A celebration of all things woolly, just off Junction 13 of the M6. Workshops, stalls, food, music, shearing.....
Learn a simple traditional technique for making textured, progged projects. In an hour you can make a sampler and use the technique later to make seat mats or rugs. Progging creates a shaggy surface when small rectangles of fabric are pulled through hessian backing. This is a method unique to the UK, done since the 19th century when poor people made mats from worn clothes or mill waste.
