There will be time to relax and work on a project using traditional rag rug techniques, to chat and eat delicious home cooked food. Take a break from the rat race : small group, relaxed company; time to finish a small project if you are so inclined. Arrive after 5pm on Friday evening and dinner is at 7.30 and you can choose from their selection of local beer, wine or cider. On Saturday we work on our textile projects (hooking and progging) after breakfast until about 6pm with breaks for a light lunch and refreshments and on Sunday morning until lunch at 1.30 when the course finishes.
Social distancing etc. will be observed. The final decision to go ahead with a course will be made in the week preceding the start date i.e. at the point where it is possible to assess the ongoing situation.
Any deposit would be returned if course could not go ahead.
Proposed date for this course is now in April, hopefully after lockdown.
If you want to try rag rug making from home, Jenni makes kits and is happy to provide help and support by email and phone. Kits are shown on her website.
