Woodcarving: A Practical Introduction
Course Overview
Woodcarving courses available in central Ludlow in the studio of professional carver, Andrew Pearson. Learn basic techniques, design and sharpening methods with only two students to ensure close supervision, plenty of demonstration and safe working practice.
A relaxed and good humoured atmosphere is guaranteed with lunch and all refreshments provided to make the most of the time available. The price includes the use of all tools and machinery plus oak or lime wood suitable for the piece of work planned, which may be something the student has in mind, or a project set by Andrew. The aim is for each student to take home a complete or well-advanced piece of work at the end of the course. Lunch and refreshments included.
