Andrew Pearson

Andrew has been a woodcarver and turner since his Design degree in the 1980s and he now works from a small studio at his home in Ludlow on the Shropshire/Herefordshire border. Ludlow is well known for its medieval timbered houses and fabulous St Lawrence’s church, and it has been an inspiration and source of countless local commissions for Andrew for many years. Andrew can teach one or two people at a time in the studio, in a relaxed and hands-on way, with all timber and equipment provided to help students begin carving quickly and confidently, with plenty of demonstration and reference material available. Andrew is a highly experienced teacher, and all age groups are welcome with any level of experience from the complete beginner to those who have done some carving or turning before.
